Hi all, I have lightburn version 1.7.08 on which I run my 33W Diode and 80W CO2 lasers.
Referring to the CO2 laser have it working OK but I would like to set the “Start From” and “Finish At” positions as I have seen in many videos. The only problem is both these buttons seem to be missing from mine!!!
I have tried using “USER ORIGIN”, “CURRENT POSITION” and “ABSOLUTE COORDS” to see if that made any difference but still the same.
Any help and / or advice that could help to sort this out would be greatly appreciated.
These are the Start From: choices in the Laser window.
This is the Set Finish Position button in the Move window. Put the laser where you want to finish and click the button. Once it is set, you enable it in the Device settings window - Return to Finish Position, where you can also edit the finish position value.
If neither button shows, make sure Beginner Mode in not checked in the Settings window.
By the way, these settings are determined by what Device you have selected. You have to set it for each machine.
Hi Mike, thanks for the reply. I will have a look at it a bit closer when I am connected to the machine again. ( Bodor BCL-0605MU 80W laser cutter/engraver with a RUIDA controller ).
I have tried to attach 2 photos showing what I see ( or don’t !! ) so that you might be able to help further.
