Steel Clean-up pass settings

I need some help with some clean-up pass settings. I just tried a coin for the first time, and it did the engraving, but everything looks burned after all of the passes. I am doing it on a steel coin, not brass. The issue is that everything looks black and I’ve tried some clean-up pass settings, but everything is still black and not nice and silver (steel color). What are some settings that you guys are using? MOPA M7 60W here.

When you say “Steel” is it carbon steel or stainless?

This worked on 304? stainless for me 175x175 lens but stainless has so many different alloy materials you will probably need to run some material tests. This is also very slow due to the line interval.

This worked really nice on a carbon steel slide. 100mmx100mm lens but assuming you are not making coins out of CS. Haven’t tried it on SS.
