Hello Laser Fam,
I have a Chinesium dual tube laser 1300x900 that has developed an issue that has me stumped. When transistioning between lasers and layers the X and Y axis stepper motors studder (skips?) throwing of the location from refrence. My guess is that the problem is some where in the Rudia acceleration settings but, I have been running this same configuration for months now and I’ve even tried reverting to my previous backed up settings with no change.
Set up:
In LightBurn I have created two layers offset from each other, one for Laser 1 and the other for Laser 2 (heavy engraving and fine detail).
Expectation:
I am expecting to have a smooth transistion between these locations/lasers/layers
Reality:
During transistion, both X and Y axis stepper motors ‘panic’ and results in the laser head not being in an accurate location from reference home.
It is almost as if, the machine is trying to achieve warp speed acceleration to get to the new location for the second layer. It is important to note that running these layers indepently works perfectly fine, the problem only arises when with both layers in the same job.
LightBurn firmware: 1.7.06
Rudia Controller: RDC6445G(EC)
Rudia Firmware: RDC-V15.01.35
