Sooo…I’ve searched many posts and couldn.t find the answer. I’m using the Ortur 2 Pro with Lightburn. Works great most of the time. The issue I have is that more than a few times a day after I home the machine and then hit Start the laser would turn on as it’s supposed to and then travel to the starting point of the “burn” and just stay…burning a smokin black dot in whatever I’m working on. Is this a software issue maybe, or perhaps a connection issue? Anyone had this issue? Thanks all for the help. Oh…yes, I’m a newbie.
Can you hear the motors moving when this is happening?
Can you share a small screen capture image of your setting in the Cuts / Layers Window? I’m wondering if you have your speed set very low. To open that window - start along the top row - click Window, wheel on down to the lower box (the one in alphabetical order) and Click Cuts / Layers - try to share that in a reply here.
Can you do the same for the Machine Settings? You can reach that window by selecting ‘Edit’ and wheeling on down to Machine Settings. It’s near the bottom of the list.
