can anyone tell me why the the machine is going to another point when i have jog it to a spot where i supposed to start the job.
It´s only happen when I use LB
When I jog the machine for ex. to the right or left and try to jog it forward or backwards the machine goes to the first point.

Is this in the picture the problem ?
Can you give us a few more details?
Which device profile, and where is it physically going when you home?
What does it show in the console after you home and send a ?
in the console?
And how can we repeat the steps you did exactly to see what could be wrong?
What you see in the picture is LightBurn asking your controller if there are any coordinate offsets. In this case, there are none.
Sorry Jon
I don´t think I understand you in the first answer.
And in the second answer: How or where do I program that you
spoke of
Thx for helping a newbe
Kristian
What I need to know is what were you doing in 1.7 that doesn’t work in 2.0?
Specifically:
- Where did you input negative values
- What was the behavior with those values
Regarding the machine offsets, if your machine is a purpose-built laser machine, then you shouldn’t have any offsets set. The reason we now check for those is for folks who have transformed a CNC router to use a laser element instead of a spindle. Because the coordinate system for those is often quite different than that in a purpose-built laser.
This is what I was prompted to type.
After that it doesn’t really work.

Thank you for sharing your GRBL configuration.
I notice that $23=3, meaning it will home to the front left, correct?
If that is the case, I would assume that you are using the front left origin in LightBurn’s device settings?
Please make sure in that case to disable the CNC Machine toggle - that’s meant for machines where $23=0 generally.
