Good afternoon!
I use a UV laser. The lens is 110x110mm, the spot diameter is less than 0.01 mm.
I am engraving on a rotary device at the joints of the blocks there is an overlap. I don’t understand how to deal with it.
I’ve already tried everything, increase and decrease the Split Size, etc. It is very noticeable when engraved on glass.
If you do the engraving without SplitSize, or rather an equal line interval, then it takes a very long time.
Hello
It looks like you have the diameter or the steps wrong, causing overlap. Or too much overlap set. What type of rotary do you have? Post screenshots of your rotary set up windows.
All settings are correct. The diameter of the workpiece is measured with an accuracy of 0.01 mm. Are you saying the overlap is too big? it is set to 0.01 mm.
The problem is also that it is quite difficult to “redo” something on a UV laser, but it is generally impossible to do so on glass.
I don’t understand why not make a normal mode without Split Size but with normal speed.
You have what looks like a lot of overlap. You need a split size, just the way things work. Some make it the same as scan LI but that is really slow. You didn’t say what type rotary or post screenshots but slowing down your acceleration (larger number) and speeds (smaller numbers) will help with any slipping. Try making your split somewhere between 10X or 100X of your LI, and 0 overlap. I like to make my split size divide equally into my steps per 360 and then my LI a divisor of split but you have to fix a larger problem then that first.
Nothing jumps out as way off. Just to rule out slippage set your acceleration time to 1000 or more. What type of chuck rotary? Please post a photo of glass in rotary.
Here something that might help. The minimum your surface will move is 0.0183 with 1 microstep (234.049/12800). Suggest split equal to a multiple of that, like 1.83 and adjust LI to a divisor of that. Set your overlap to 0. Good Luck
