Suggestions for getter quality PNG output?

I’ve tried a half dozen combinations, but my ignorance is showing.

Engraving with a Bosslaser on hardwood. Here are the settings I used for the best output I’ve seen, but I’m guessing there are ways to make it feel more real.

Because it looks like a two-tone linocut, the ‘Threshold’ image mode might work well, for example, try settings like this;
