SVG text importing does not maintain font

Hi. I am attempting to use a workflow that generates the following svg i need to import into lightburn. When I import it, the font reverts to Ariel. If I ungroup everything, I can change the font but that is a big time waste. I could also export as paths, but I would prefer to maintain the ability to edit the text. Is there a way to address this? Thanks.

In the source tool, convert the text into paths. Then it won’t be changed.

So I could do some testing I found the “Nautilus Pompilius” font online and installed it. I opened your SVG in Inkscape and the text was displayed in a simple sans-serif font, not in the font it should have been (just like it does in LB).

I also tried opening it in CorelDRAW 2018 and Affinity Designer 2.5.5. Both Affinity and Corel displayed it similarly to Inkscape and LB (i.e. with a sans-serif font). In all the apps the various pieces of text also seem to be visually misaligned/disjointed/overlapping.

Inspecting the SVG in a text editor the text has certainly been “cut up” seemingly randomly:

In Corel and Affinity I am able to select the “Nautilus Pompilius” font, export as SVG then import it into LB where it comes in correctly (i.e. with the correct font). It still suffers with some misalignment but as mentioned that’s present whichever app I use to open the original SVG.

What application did you use to create the graphic? You might find it easier and less problematic to create it directly in LB.
