Hi all, my 2013 MacBook Pro pooped out so I bought a SGIN 17in 8GB DDR4 256GB SSD Windows 11 Laptop IPS 1920 x 1080 FHD 8-Core Intel Celeron, Mini HDMI from Walmart (copied from purchase history)
I have an OMTech 80w RB with a Ruida controller, I’ll have to get the info tomorrow.
I’m very familiar with LB but I can’t figure this one out. First issue is when I click preview it’s no longer an instant popup. It takes 5 min, literally, to load and just see what changes I made affected what. My settings also don’t apply or stay. If my cut times were 100mm/s or 500mm/s the cut time in preview are both the same.
So I sent the file to my controller to see if my settings are retained and it shows 500mm/s but is cutting at 300? Attached pic. I’ve downloaded everything but I haven’t switched my activation key. I’m at a loss.
Is the size and DPI of the image quite high? If so, that could potentially cause Preview to be delayed. 5 minutes seems excessive in any case.
Exactly the same or largely the same? This could be due to your acceleration values and the increased overscan required to accommodate the higher speed.
It’s very likely that the max speed configured for your machine is 300 mm/s. So speeds will be capped to 300 mm/s irrespective of the requested speed.
Can you upload the .lbrn file here for review? I’ll try to reproduce the Preview issue.
I will get that info this evening if I can. I’ve had my machine for over 2 years and have never had this issue before switching laptops. That is the only change. So before looking I wouldn’t know why my machine settings are all the sudden different when nothing has changed other than the computer.
