Switching what gets burned out or rastered

I’m attempting to inlay veneer on a lid of a box and have a simple lightburn question. To inlay I have to raster out the image to be inlayed, but with the simple fill setting it rasters out the opposite if what I want, if that makes sense. Is there a simple way to switch the part in lightburn that gets burned out or rastered?

Two ways to “invert” the resulting cuts in LightBurn.

Interesting my cut pain looks like this…no negative image option

your working with an image I see

This is due to the layer you are showing is not an “image” and the layer is set to ‘Fill’ indicating this is vector artwork. Have a look at the second post link I provided. That post describes how to invert or negate the art to fill.

If you show what you are wanting to accomplish I might be able to refine my answer a bit to help.
