Tabs / Bridges not working consistently

A file with tabs clearly set gets sent to the laser without tabs.

If I select a component, on the preview it shows the tab correctly.

I can’t tell for the whole project it is too big too on preview.

I still can’t quite nail this down. It might be to do with saving the file then reloading at a later date.

Going to the settings clearly shows the tabs is enabled, just don’t do it when sending to the laser.

Watching the laser, I see no power drop on any component.

I’ve read other people’s messages about the same issue and I can’t see anybody getting a resolution on this one.

It is very frustrating because it mostly works, then you waste an hour of cutting and a whole sheet of material when it suddenly stops.

I can provide files and pictures if required.

Version 1.7.02. Windows 10. Omtech 100W, Ruida controller.

You’d need to send us the file so we can try to reproduce the issue and see what’s happening. If it’s not something you’re comfortable posting here, email it to support@lightburnsoftware.com and include a link to this post so we can follow up here.

@sqw I’ve found and fixed the issue for the next patch release (1.7.04). We’ll try to get it out pretty soon since that’s a pretty annoying bug, I’m sure. For now the solution is to not group shapes that have tabs or to always preview at least once before sending to the laser.
