Taper Warp Rotary Setup Object Diameter

I am trying to engrave an image on a stainless steel beer mug but it has a straight taper to it. I have been watching and reading up on the Taper Warp laser tool setting. My question is what should the Rotary setup object diameter be? the larger end of the taper or the shorter end of the taper or middle diameter of the taper? I am using a monport 20w fiber laser with the rotary attachment. I am using 1.6.03 LightBurn version. Thanks

Maybe try Deform 16 points.

Try with inner roll of kitchen paper and glue a piece of paper at an angle on one end so as not to trash the mug.

Have you seen this article?

Thanks, ill give it a read.

Thanks Billie. Yes i did read that but it did not specify what should be used for object diameter in the rotary setting.

Ah! I’m sorry, I misread your question, it should be the largest value, I believe. I’ll see if we can get that added to the docs!

Thanks, i figured that. Results came out great. Appreciate the help.
