When using taper warp I apply it to the object 1st and then turn it 90 degrees for engraving on to a tumbler. If I then turn it back 90 degrees can I undo the taper warp or is it one and done?
In principle, you could apply a second taper warp with interchanged Top
and Bottom
diameters at the same Length
, but I’d Undo
each operation until it Undid
the taper warp, rather than “doing” more operations (even if I had the foresight to write down the exact numbers):
By and large, Ctrl-Z
is my copilot …
Edit to add: Now that I have just a little blood in my caffeine stream, the right way to do what you want is to Duplicate
the shape, then apply the taper warp and rotation. When you’re done with whatever, just delete the duplicate and resume using the original.
^Z undo the last operation… a few ^Z might be more simple. The operations are in a queue, so you can back up quite a bit.
These are not kept in the project file, only the current working model.
Right click object and click duplicate. Drag one of them to the side for a copy. That’s what I do.
LOL, I just read the last part of @ednisley post. Didn’t mean to duplicate.
Thanks for the simple solution
Thanks for the option suggested
