There are millions of these out there with no issues, so I doubt there is anything to worry about.
I haven’t been inside my galvo, but in my co2 there is no protection from the controller to the stepper motors and I’ve never lost any electronics.
I’m sure you’re English is better than any of my other languages (none), so don’t sweat it.
