I noticed a bug in the new (1.7) version in a file created with a pre-1.7 version. For example, in version 1.6.0.3 it is displayed correctly, while in 1.7 parts of the graphics are slightly shifted (same file opened in both versions, tried on two different computers, win 10 and win 11)
If I copy graphics from running instances, 1.6 → 1.7 it is again shifted, but if I copy that shifted graphics from 1.7 to 1.6, in 1.6 is displayed correctly.
Preview window in 1.7 is also showing it as shifted same as in workspace.
I’s not kerf or layer problem. Same lbrn file is looking different between 1.6 and 1.7 version.
I think that I have found a problem. It looks like something has changed in font rendering in 1.7, all text in file is regular text in Arial font (with bold enabled), not converted to paths. If I convert that text to path then all is looking OK in 1.7 also.
I haven’t found anything in the changelog that seems related to this.
I also couldn’t reproduce it with other files, I tried adding text, adding an offset and it looks OK in both versions of LightBurn.
I have checked everything as I said already. I’m not importing anything to existing lightburn file, I’m opening existing lightburn file which is working well in versions < 1.7 so all layer settings are stored in that file already.
Nevermind, I’ve found workaround as mentioned and I’ll use it.
