During the trial period, I used my wife’s laptop and Lightburn worked flawlessly. When I bought the software, I bought a small laptop for me to use. Unfortunately, something is going wrong. I don’t know if the problem is my computer, my settings, or my laser.
Since the change is a new computer and a new copy of Lightburn, I’d think that would be the place to start…

The strange motion looks bouncy - Quite possibly running too fast.
The described procedure appears to use a new file name or format.
Please open your wife’s computer and search for the term lbprefs
You may find a file with the LightBurn preferences (settings) from when it was working for you. The smoothest way to transfer it may be to email it unless you have a memory stick kicking around. Either method for moving the file makes for a handy future back-up. You may want to also transfer your .lbrn or .lbrn2 files.
Once you get the files to your other computer you should be able to import the preferences file with the technique in Jack’s link.
