Hi all, we’re having issues with copy and pasting objects with text aligned to a path. Text will be curved in the original but straightens in the copies. Any advice? TIA
The next release adds support for this - It was complicated to do, and I wanted to get the last release out. For the moment, select the curved text and use Edit > Convert to Paths, then you can copy & paste the result, but it won’t be editable text any more.
Alternately, copy and paste both the text and the path it’s applied to, and just re-apply the copied path to the copied text. The copy should then look exactly like the source did.
Excellent, thanks! We’ve just been copying the path and reapplying as you suggested. I just assumed I was being thick and missing something obvious.
