The file .svg is imported only partially

Hello,
I have a problem importing an svg file into Lightburn. The file is attached. Each time I import only the outline, not the hatched part.
In Inkscape I can see it complete see the jpeg, but exporting it out is probably no longer possible. I don’t know why.
Does anyone know why this is the case? And what to do about it?

full svg.

Your file didn’t attach, give it another go.

I added files.

That’s what I get out of the drawing, be careful to the order of the layers.

… Don’t ask me why the bird is missing a leg  That’s what I get out of your drawing.

… with normal trace in lb i get this here but then it is “only” a single layer

Thank you Bernd  The only thing I can think of is that the bird is poorly designed to begin with. The inside of the bird is supposed to be hatched.

:+1: I think so too.

Can you elaborate on it a little, it may be we can fix it.

I’ll explain in a little more detail. It is a coat of arms. The problem is that if I open it in Inkscape, for example, it contains all the layers, including the hatched body. But if I export to Lightburn, the hatched part is the only part missing. Without that, it can’t be produced. And I don’t know what to do next

If you can send the file that you open in Inkscape, the original, then maybe I can see the problem with the missing layers better.

thanks. here is file with original arms. Can you try it open in Inkscape please

That’s what i get, (the blue background i have moved)

When I copy the eagle with no background and put it into LB I can trace it and “define” the layers

Yes its true, but I dont understand why doesn’t the hatched version show up here? Please try again, but download the version directly from the source here.

I can only save it as you have also done it, like svg with lack of hatched squares, I’m not practiced enough in Inkscape. It is also possible to separate the desired pattern but when I export it as SVG is the file “empty”

LightBurn doesn’t support patterned fills (or gradients, or a number of other more complex features of SVG files).

So that’s why the pattern isn’t importing.

The 2nd foot is using a reference to the first one, and just flipping it, which I thought we supported, but apparently not in the way it’s used here. I’ve save a copy to look at later.

Thank you, that’s exactly how it behaves for me.

Oh, so that’s the main problem. If you can think of anything, thanks for the advice.

I’ve been playing a bit with Lightburn, see if you can use it.

That’s great! You’re awesome. Thank you so much. I’m gonna try it right now.

In order for it to be perfect, a little refinement is needed.
