Hello,
I have a problem importing an svg file into Lightburn. The file is attached. Each time I import only the outline, not the hatched part.
In Inkscape I can see it complete see the jpeg, but exporting it out is probably no longer possible. I don’t know why.
Does anyone know why this is the case? And what to do about it?
I’ll explain in a little more detail. It is a coat of arms. The problem is that if I open it in Inkscape, for example, it contains all the layers, including the hatched body. But if I export to Lightburn, the hatched part is the only part missing. Without that, it can’t be produced. And I don’t know what to do next
Yes its true, but I dont understand why doesn’t the hatched version show up here? Please try again, but download the version directly from the source here.
I can only save it as you have also done it, like svg with lack of hatched squares, I’m not practiced enough in Inkscape. It is also possible to separate the desired pattern but when I export it as SVG is the file “empty”
LightBurn doesn’t support patterned fills (or gradients, or a number of other more complex features of SVG files).
So that’s why the pattern isn’t importing.
The 2nd foot is using a reference to the first one, and just flipping it, which I thought we supported, but apparently not in the way it’s used here. I’ve save a copy to look at later.
