I have a job on the bed but when I frame to job, the laser runs backward. I have the laser selected to run from the top left to run down and around, but the laser tries to run upward.
Several things can cause this, but why is this a problem? You need to tell us why this is not acceptable.
I have a job set up in Lightburn ready to go. I place the material on the laser bed. I set the laser to start from the top left of the job and the material. I then run frame, and this is when things go wrong. The laser is sent to the top of the machine and hits the machine frame instead of going around the material. I tried to start the laser from the bottom corner to the material to see if that would work. The laser was sent up the bed and hit the top of the machine frame. A no point did it frame the material. I have tried a different design to cut out to check if there was a problem with the design but had the same result. Have I got a bug in the system. How can I rerun the latest update of the Lightburn program to see if that corrects the issue. As things stand, I cannot do any projects that I wanted to for Christmas.
After all that. I was closing things down and noticed that somehow I had ticked enable rotary. Turned that off and all is now working. Notice to self, check all things enabled before I lose my mind. Thank you for your patience. Can I blame it on my age. LOL
You just joined a very large club. Cannot count how many times I did something like this.
