The laser path between graphic elements is being burned - how to stop?

Hi
I am new to laser engraving and have decided to use Lightburn over GRBL with my new Yoful 3018 pro CNC with 5.5w laser. I was following the Lightburn tutorials to create the Q-code wifi engraving.

Apart from not getting my power setting right, the laser is burning the path between each letter and each graphic element. These are the paths that show in preview mode in red.
How can I prevent this?

Thank you, that worked a treat, all new to me so far. Just that one change meant I had to change the power and feed rates too, but the results were a quantum leap form my first efforts.
