Thickness setting during Camera Alignment

Hi everyone,
I’m trying to align the camera of my Gweike Cloud pro (for the first time). The calibration went well using the circle method and I’m now on to step 2, the alignment. I can’t seem to set my settings properly as if the popup screen wasn’t reporting the settings to the layers. (see screenshot, sorry it’s in french).

You can see I set the thickness to 1,5mm and set the speed and power but it isn’t reporting on the layers. I tried anyway and the laser is wayyyy above, meaning the engraving is really blurry. I don’t know if I’m missing something, but I can’t seem to understand how to set the thickness in here. If I close the popup, the layers generated disappear so I change the settings manually in the layers.

Did anyone encountered the same issue ?
Thanks in advanced !

You need to change the values under point 2, set them to the values you know fit the line and fill of the material you are using. There is no connection between the calibration window and the layer window.

Thanks Bernd for your fast answer!
Understood for the no correlation between the 2 windows, but still :

I did change the values under point 2, but these are only about the speed and power of the laser (Fill speed, fill power, line speed, line power). My issue is that the focus is completely off. I can see when it’s running that the laser head isn’t going as low as usual. Also, when launching, I have a message that says that the thickness is almost zero (despite setting it to 1,5), and asks if I’m sure I want to go ahead with the job. This is why I think the issue is thickness-related (but maybe I’m wrong?).

For context, I’ve received the machine 1 week ago and I’ve been able to print materials without any issue of focus. I usually set the thickness of the material in the layer panel on the layer windows.

I can only explain how I do it on my blue Chinese (600x400).
I just tested (again) and did a new lens calibration and camera alignment.
I use the “new” April Tags", but I can easily do it with the old round patterns as well.
I set my machine bed with the target plate to the correct focus and I don’t know if it has any meaning at all. In height/material thickness I don’t write anything - 0.
When I print and engrave camera alignment targets (1,2,3 and 4) I set the speeds and power to my desired values. (Unfortunately, in the latest beta version there is no fill option anymore, which makes it harder to see the target afterwards)
By your last post I understand what you are writing about focus/exposure blur problems. I have also made LB aware of it and that it affects different versions.
That is actually the biggest problem with the camera system right now and makes it almost unusable for quality work. I “fix it” temporarily, by turning off the camera in the list and starting it again, with the same when the preview window appears I click on update the desktop window, it should be quickly!, then you get a normal sharp picture again - until you press the update button again.

Fortunately, LB is working seriously on the problem, so there is hope ahead

If you want to see what I explained with the camera change, there is a video on YT : https://youtu.be/N6pq6LqTl2g
