I have a Atezr P10, for 2 years, I love it, but lately I have had to slow the speed down by a third to get a get good etch, (wood). Today I went to cut out a squire on a piece of cardboard never had a issue cut cardboard today it was struggling i did 3 pass and it burned the cardboard more then it cut. I then put a wood board on to etch and it was not etching then I notice the laser light which is always blue was a orange color. I checked the head it looked clean, so my question is does anybody have any suggestions, I really don’t want to change lasers because I’m so used to how the Lightburn works with the laser and really don’t want to learn a new machine. I bought this laser on Amazon, they no longer sell it on website. I went to the Atezr website did notice price has dropped big time on this laser, but website wasn’t actually working well when you clicked to look at options. Any suggestion greatly appreciated, should I try to fix this laser head or just buy a new laser?
My guess here is that there is something on the lens that is causing the color shift. There is usually a flat protective lens before the curved one, which you should not have to touch.
Take it apart (slowly!!!) and try cleaning with isopropol alcohol.
Thank You, exactly what I did, and seems a lot better, but have a feeling the cable going to module is giving me issues. but im up and running again.
