I run windows 10 going to upgrade to 11 - Even after updates my software continues to crash
and after a short break (7 day Vaca) - opened Lightburn and most of my saved files are missing or not recognized - To upgrade i had to buy a new computer with 11 loaded - when i move everything to new computer will those files be lost – i mean this is months of designs gone .
so here is my questions : how to i relocate my files - why is your program continuing to crash
will i lose file information in transition to new machine
You have not lost your files, you just do not know where they are located. To find them do a search in Explorer using *.lbrn2 in the find box.
You can tell Lightburn to save the files to any folder you want. Lightburn will use that folder going forward for that file if you double-click it. I have files in about 2 dozen folders.
You need to say what you mean by “crash”. If it is a true crash, there will be a new crash log file on your desktop. Send that file to Support@LightburnSoftware.com with a link to this Thread.
