Tha is for responding. Ethernet, as the USB port was having issues and even though OMTech sent the parts to fix the usb, I didn’t want to be tethered to the laser. It’s designed to work WiFi or Ethernet and that’s what works best in my shop. But yes, it had worked previously. I actually figured the issue out about 5 minutes ago and here is the result: when rebuilding the device in Lightburn the controller connection was built on “Ethernet or WiFi/TCP Ruida” and for my system it needed to be on t…

If that doesn’t solve the problem, upload screenshots of:

• The Device Settings → Basic Settings tab showing the IP address of the Ruida controller
• Screenshot of the Windows ipconfig results
• Screenshot of the Windows ping to the laser’s IP address from the PC
• With the laser turned Off, another screenshot of the Windows ping to the laser’s IP address

Type the ipconfig and ping commands in a Command Prompt window that you start by hitting the Win key and the R key, then typing cmd into the run dialog box.

Include a crisp photo of the Ruida controller’s display showing its IP address.

Then the hive mind can start pondering …
