Time optimization option?

I make monthly milestone marker sets on my Onefinity CNC for taking newborn baby pictures. I’ve recently added a J-Tech laser to offer a laser option and am wondering if there’s a way to burn a complete marker at one time vs the default setting to traverse across the entire X axis, slowly building each month. My goal is to reduce run time.
My layout is 30” wide X 18” high.
There are 2 rows of 6 - 4” diameter markers each.
When the program starts, it runs across the entire X axis, slowly building the 7-12 months (and 1-6) left to right, right to left.
Lots of “flyover” space between each unit and it takes almost 2 hours to run. (Running 70” per minute)
If I do them one at a time it only takes 6 minutes per unit but I have to stand there and feed the blanks onto the table which isn’t real productive either.
My question. Is there a setting that will allow me to burn each of the 12 months one at a time vs the current slow build order of operation?

Are these vector engravings? If so, try switching fill selection to “Fill shapes individually” in your cut settings.

Alternatively, you can increase “Fast Whitespace scan” speed in Device settings to increase speed in the whitespace.

If these don’t work can you take a screenshot of LB with your design loaded and Cut window showing?

Thanks for your quick reply! Yes, they are vector engravings. I’ll give this a try. Also meant to add that I have all months running as one cut layer. Was thinking about changing each month to a separate layer which I think will allow me to set the order. I’ll reply back with an update after I make these changes. Thanks again.

This worked great! Changed from fill to offset fill and it reduced the time from over 2 hours to 55 minutes. May need to tweak the speed and power settings b/c I picked up some darker spots on the crossover spots but nothing real bad.
Thanks again for your help!

There is another option on the layer’s advanced tab called “Flood Fill” which my further reduce the time to engrave depending on the image you are using.

Thanks PKKid! It took me a while to find the advanced tab - had to switch off beginners mode view - to turn on flood fill. I’m carving numbers 1-12 spelled out ie One Month, Two Months, etc on a 4” plywood circle. It added about 20 minutes to my carve but burned consistently darker and eliminated the dark spots at cross over. My next move will be to revisit speed and power settings to see if I can reduce further.
Thanks again!
