OMG, here’s my thinking after watching Joining/welding shapes and text - #8 by Anna. Almost all the script fonts have the capital letter disconnected from rest of text. Here is how I think, please don’t laugh.

  1. I typed the word Tamara, selected all, ungrouped.
  2. I ungrouped, selected “T” and moved “T” down (to left of rest of letters).
  3. Selected all, clicked on CTRL “T”, CTRL “a”.
  4. Clicked on “Weld” button.

I think that’s what I did.

It’s always something simple, the hard part is finding it.
