I installed 1.5.03 today “downgraded” from 1.6 and I noticed my framing is ignoring the tool layer even though I have T1 set to Frame. It only frames the non-tool layers.
Anyone else experiencing this?

Are you certain that the tool layer was selected?
What happens if you change that tool layer to a normal output layer and try to frame?
Frames fine if I turn it to a normal layer. I had to do that to get the frame right and then turn it back off. I’ll do some testing tomorrow and roll back to an old version.
So the version of 1.6 I have on the shop computer frames the tool layer as I expect. I’ll do some more testing but definitely a disconnect somewhere. The only reason I hesitate to submit an official bug is becuase I haven’t rolled back the computer where I observed this yet and I was really hoping someone else would confirm if they were seeing the same behavior before I do that.
Please do and report back as you go. Thanks @CarlFisher.
Just poked @LightBurn double-checking the possibility this is related to the recent changes in support of Trocen Controllers. Oz provided the following:
Oz: “No, that’s been that way for a while. We need a 3-state switch for that. “Ignore”, “use for bounds calc/positioning”, “actually frame this”. We currently have the first two.”
Given the reply from Jason I’ll sit on this one as a known behavior. Thanks for the follow up.
