When doing a pocket operation using a raster pattern it starts in the bottom left, goes back and forth until it gets to the end. For the Outline pass it comes back down to the bottom right, goes around then goes back to the bottom left for the next depth cut.
A better way:
- Start bottom left for the depth cut
- End up the top In a corner, lets say the top right
- Start the Outline pass in the corner it finished the depth cut
- Start the next depth cut in the top right (where it started / finished the Outline pass)
- Cut the depth pass down to the bottom
- Start the Outline pass in the corner where it finished
- Goto 1
There would be no need to move the tool up unless it needs to lift it over parts not being cut.
