Touchscreen Laptop Gestures?

Had a search and haven’t seen anything specific save for one vague mention of someone saying ‘yah it worked fine on my Dell’ .. I’ve got a Dell 5300 2-in-1 that I use for throwing together quick designs away from a desk. I’ve gotten used to the tablet workspace on Adobe Illustrator and wondered if there’s a way to configure/enable some sort of gestures in Lightburn? Specifically, the ability to pan and zoom. I’ve been using a passive stylus and debating getting an active stylus, but noted that they tend to only have two programmable buttons on the barrel - I’m guessing for a hardware solution I’d need three buttons.. Zoom in, zoom out, and ‘middle mouse’ for panning. I’ve tried hotkey scripting, whereby a ‘double click’ simulates a keystroke which switches to ‘pan’ mode… but then I can’t use said shortcut to get back out of it to whatever tool I had before (like a toggle).

Am I just missing some key functionality that allows multi-touch gestures in Lightburn natively? Seems the trackpad works for zooming gestures, interestingly. Perhaps someone else has come up with an ingenious solution? I find Lightburn much easier to use for quick designs rather than messing with layers and a million tools in Illustrator, so would be nice! I’ve a few thoughts on different ways this could be implemented if not a feature/not currently possible - so maybe I can submit a feature suggestion if nothing fruitful here.

For PC: Thumbwheel roll for zoom in and out. Thumbwheel click and hold for panning. I messed around with the keyboard and discovered Windows grabs control first, and what it does not care about, Lightburn gets to play.
