Trace function problem

Thanks for the info will attempt it tomorrow

I attempted but no luck. I do have a question as to why one drawn line in a pdf becomes 2 lines an outer and an inner confusing

The Trace tool finds the boundaries of your shapes, both the inside and outside of the shape. There are trace tools, using other software like InkScape, that provide ā€œcenter-lineā€ tracing, but not currently available in LightBurn.

Where in the process did you have problems? I have used the same method to clean up files and make new edits to old files many, many times. Did I leave out a step, or is it too labor intensive for your returns?

Jim,
You didnā€™t leave out any steps I just found using photoshop easier as itā€™s one step to remove all the unwanted parts of the file and goes pretty quickly. I saved the PDF as a usable photoshop file, do my thing with the eraser tool and save as a PDF file to import into lightburn. Iā€™m old and always looking for the fastest and easiest way to accomplish a task.

Jim,
I am getting really dumb in my old age. I managed to convert the rib diagram so I could import it into photo shop to get rid of the extra line, I just raced another BP and it will only let me save it as a lightburn file. What a I missing???
TIA
Larry

Sorry Larry, I am not a good source on that problem.
