I have two Monport 100W Galvo Fiber lasers, each of them was running independently yesterday on their own instance of Lightburn. I got the second one to connect to it’s own instance earlier today but it wouldn’t frame and when I restarted the program they’ve both been trying to connect to one instance so I haven’t been able to run them at the same time today. I have the correct laser selected in my devices but each laser is the same model so I think that may potentially be part of the problem, and i’m not sure what to do from here.
Are they trying to get the same COM port number?
I think that’s possible. Do they each need their own?
For sure.
Lightburn instance → Windows → COM port # → laser, and back up the chain to Lightburn.
