Hi everyone new guy here. I just bought a 60watt machine and getting familiar with everything.
I am trying to engrave and then cut out the object last. For some reason I can’t seem to find the info I need. Any ideas of where you can point me to?
You can’t cut a rasterized image, it needs to be (traced to) a vector.
An image contains a grid of pixels, not a shape that can be “cut”, as Jorge says. You can use the image trace feature in LightBurn to produce an outline, or draw an ellipse or rectangle around the image using the tools in LightBurn, and cut that shape.
