I have lightburn 1.7.08 on my desktop. I had an version on my old laptop that crashed. I haven’t done any laser work for a little over a year due to health issues. Now I am trying to get things running again. I downloaded the file from LB and installed on my laptop. It installed fine but won’t let me install my license number. The field is grayed out. I have tried several times to reinstall and it still comes up grayed out. Is there anyplace I can reenter the number so I can get things going again? My laser is in my garage as well as the laptop that connects to it with no internet connection. What I did in the past was just to transfer things via USB. Thanks for any help.
That is likely the problem. Take your laptop into the house, connect it to the internet and download the LB version that your License covers. Registration is done online, then you can continue as you normally would at the workshop.
