This looks like you’re trying to open the file. Are you following the installation instructions?
https://lightburnsoftware.github.io/NewDocs/Installation.html#linux-installation

I just unzipped it into a directory and wired it up to the ‘Lightburn.desktop’ file.

:smiley_cat:

This is for the .7z version - which is just an archive. Looks like he’s using the .run version which is an actual installer.

@vegeto you need to execute that file instead of opening it.
You can just run bash LightBurn-Linux64-v1.0.06.run at the command line (while in the directory you downloaded the file to.
That will run the installer for you.

Thx for the info, turns out it was as simple as i miss read the Linux instructions.
