Looks pretty darn good, Ive tried grayscale but all i get is black and white area’s. any tip or tricks you used? what are your settings?
Thanks! For that one I had 3325 mm/m (I don’t think my machine actually goes that fast), 26 percent power (it’s a 5.5 watt diode laser) and 300 dpi.
Cary - You have a Boss Laser, with at least a 40w tube (probably a 60w?). Beau is using a 5.5w diode. You simply won’t be able to get the same results using grayscale with a glass-tube CO2 system - your machine won’t go as low, and will vaporize material before it has a chance to char and blacken.
