Trying to Personalize cups for Holidays

I have two questions. I have a template setup for placement of double sided cups. So I can type out a name and move it to snap to the box I have drawn for perfect placement and it doesn’t seem to ever pull it to snap it to the box. Is there something I might have set not powerful enough to snap it? Second it there a way that I can just type a new name to have it be the perfect placement every time with me just adjusting the size to make it bigger or smaller depending on the size of the name, so it type from center out? Here’s a picture of my settings. I watched people grab their text move it close to a line and the software pull it and snap it to the line. Mine doesnt do that.

Start by setting the snap grid distance to something other than 0. (0.5 for example)
Your second question could be solved with the “Variable Text” function in LightBurn.

So I did what you said and being that I want to snap to object and not grid I played with the snap to object settings. Now it’s snapping but not center on center more of 1/3 of my text to center. I’m not sure what’s up with this. I watched a YouTube by beard something of how he sets his cups up to get them evenly spaced and his video was flawless on where his text snapped center text to center of line. I’m just so confused why this won’t work.

Sometimes, when the series is not too large, I make a template of the sign itself and in this an extra field for graphics or text. I duplicate this template next to the original (in LightBurn). Now I fill in the text field and copy it over the original, it always snaps perfectly. The actual shape that I use as “transporter” is drawn with T1 or T2, so they are not engraved.
While one subject is being engraved, I prepare the next, live in LightBurn.
You are welcome to send me your file and I will try to see if it is a useful solution for you.
