Hi all. I am trying to set up my Omtech 50w fiber but LB is not detecting. I am currently using lightburn with my Thunder Co2. Do I need a separate license for the fiber? Is this why LB not detecting?
Thanks
You might need to reinstall lightburn and install the galvo drivers.
Yes - you need a galvo license … also the drivers for EZCad2 will not work with Lightburn.
With the new system DSP for his CO2 has galvo.
Lightburn Pro
I though EZCAD 2 DOES work w/ lightburn???
They use the same control board, but the drivers for each are different.
If you go into Help/License Management, you can ensure that you have Galvo support in your license:
This section of the docs walks through ensuring you have the correct driver loaded in order for LightBurn to be able to see your galvo machine:
HI again,
I was able to get help from LB tech.
It turns out my license covered the galvo but I needed to do an update.
LB shows the fiber is installed, but since I did the update, LB says the fiber is disconnected … not only for the fiber but my Thunder too.
Any thoughts as to what the issue is now?
