Ive tried a few times to update but keep getting this error message code 5
I ran into a similar problem while updating. I manually deleted all references to LightBurn in the Program Files folder, but three of them would not depart. I had to use Unlocker to delete them. The program then required a reboot to delete the files before re-installing the update. I checked the attributes of the files I could not delete, but they were “normal.”
That file hasn’t changed, so you can skip it. It’s the thing that displays the thumbnails in the Windows Explorer, and Explorer is actively using it. I need to see if there’s a way to unhook it before the installation starts so this doesn’t happen.
