Once I have my setting for my rotary saved to my controller. Can I just turn off rotary to go back to my regular laser setting or do I have to load my default settings??
When you use the Rotary toggle, turned on, the appropriate settings are enabled/activated. When the device is disconnected, if you don’t toggle the Rotary, you’ll get those settings on the flat project, which will be incorrect. Once you hit the switch, the proportions will be correct.

Enable Rotary
When enabled, the rotary settings you have specified will be applied to the axis. When not enabled, the axis will revert to the standard settings.
