Hi, I have a DIY CNC controller using a parallel breakout board that is converted to USB via UC100. I currently use Mach3 and UCCNC to control the CNC however am interested in getting Lightburn to do so. Currently I can export the gcode and hand off to UCCNC but would like to get Lightburn to talk directly to the UC100. Is this possible?
In short, I have no idea - if it’s connected via USB and uses any normal serial drivers, then possibly, but it depends on how much of the motion planning Mach3 is doing compared to the board itself, and whether the maker is willing to share information on how to control it.
