UI Lens Calibration Wizard: more consistent screenshots for guidelines

Hi

Not really a request but a simple proposal for the Lens Calibration Wizard : the screenshots are a bit confusing because we can see a bit of the machine, the knife bed, a brown cardboard and the calibration pattern and their respectives positions and framing vary along the 5 steps.

Maybe simplier pictures (only bed and target) would be more suitable?

The cardboard on the knife blades simplifies the background for the dot-finding algorithm, so it’s a Good Idea™ rather than a distraction.

Per the doc:

If your camera is already positioned in your laser, you are using the Calibration Circles pattern, and the laser has a honeycomb bed or other surface with a lot of visible circles, cover it with a patternless material (cardboard, paper, or bedsheets all work).

So the pix suggest exactly what’s required for best results in each position. I use more blank cardboard, because I have a nearly infinite supply of moving boxes …

Roger that!
So adding some arrows would greatly help…

Because for the first time, when you go step after step you cannot compare the pictures (the previous one isn’t displayed) and the target appears always centered on the brown cardboard, so it looks like nothing changed. Of course, it’s only a problem for the first time someone use the calibration wizard.
It’s always nice to understand for the first time right
