Hi
Im new to the lightburn software and was hoping for some advice. I have a OMTech Polar and for some reason I can move the Z axis by using the focus and also the manual up and down buttons. But for some reason when I set a program it doesn’t move the z axis
I have switched it on in the device settings and also put the offset in the cutting editor but it still stays up I must be missing something and was hoping someone may be able to offer some advice

In the Cuts/Layers window, you will find this. It is only for stepping down when cutting (like with thick materials) or trying to make deep burns during imaging.
There is no other Zaxis control using programming.
Thank you for your reply that makes sense now. But I still can’t get the z to move down when engraving or cutting

Yeah have done that I can’t think of anything else I apologise as I’m new to having a machine with z axis when I press the focus button it moves down and stays down is this right
