I am not sure if this is an Ortur issue or something from lightburn. I have a Ortur laser master 2. I was engraving a test image and after pausing decided to stop the engraving in Lightburn. It seems like the incomplete job is still lingering somewhere. I can no longer use move or home as it shows a job @ 97% done as in a typical engraving job in the Laser window, there is no movement of the head each time I try. I have closed lightburn multiple times, turned off the power to the laser, restarted the laptop and still nothing. When I do try to home or move the motors for both the X and Y are locked with what sounds like the motors are trying to move. I can’t budge the laser head manually. It does home automatically and normally no problem immediately when the power is turned on to the laser. I am thinking the last job needs to be cleared out of either lightburn or the laser itself I am not seeing any error messages on the console. I am afraid to let the 97% complete if it even does, for fear of overloading the motors the electronics. I have uninstalled and reinstalled lightburn version 1.702. Problem persists. I can run in Laser Grbl with no problem so it appears to be an issue in Lightburn
Start up Lightburn and immediately take a screenshot of the Laser window and post it here.
I got it sorted out
I finally resolved it. When I saw lightburn was loading information recognizing that I had lightburn previously on the laptop I knew uninstall left something behind. I did a search on the hard drive after uninstalling again, and deleted every occurrence of Lightburn that were not saved projects . Reinstalled lightburn and am back in business!
