Im trying to understand the wobble feature better. I tried using it on a small 3"x3" piece and the program is saying 25 mins! When I shut it off, it goes to 39 seconds. The laser moves so slow no matter what speed i input, when I use the wobble option. It does provide a quality finish though. I just want to understand it better. Any advice on optimizing would be appreciated.

Here’s what our documentation has to say on Wobble:
Are you struggling to cut through something? That’s what it’s generally used for. " Because Galvo lasers are not optimized for cutting, it can be hard to apply enough power to a given area while using Line Mode to cut through material."
no just adding detail and clean up passes for a higher grade finish on stainless. Thanks for the info!
As far as I know, you probably need a higher frequency to smooth things out.
Wobble is great for larger cuts or thicker lines, but you pay for it in speed.
It’s always something. ![]()
