Uneven power on galvo: JPT Mopa 60w M7

I am noticing a loss of power on the far side (towards the back of the marking field), particularly when trying to cut out my engravings from the material. the front half of the cutout is almost always completed and punched through before the rear half. understanding this, my 3d engravings might be also affected by this uneven distribution. what could be causing this? my media is perfectly flat. is this an alignment issue? is there a guide or test on how to troubleshoot and fix this somewhere? Help!

Setup:
JPT Mopa M7 60w
SG7210 head
LMCv4 clone control board
110x110 F-theta lens
Windows 11
Lightburn Pro 2.0.00-RC-8

will post photos in a followup comment

To do this, the head would have to be tilted, relative to the table, back to front or vice versa. That’s seems rather unlikely unless you’ve taken it apart or it’s not snug to the mount.

You could put some sacrificial part in there and do a good burn moving the head up/down to see if the area of the burn changes from front to back.

Likely an F160mm lens… these have a depth of focus (dof) of just under 2mm, so I think that would eliminate any focus error… it might not be centered in the material, but 2mm dof is a lot of wiggle room.

Only other things I can suggest is ensure the optics are clean.

Good luck
