Some persistence and a couple of Youtube videos made me realise the emergency stop was not fully released. What a noob as the kids say. Sigh. I hope your own issue is resolved soon.
Wish I had a nickel for every person that’s been ‘burnt’ by a power loss and it’s the e-switch…
Lots of people don’t realize that an e-switch removes power from the entire machine… just what it should do…
Much better as an ‘operator’ error than a broken machine …

Kicking myself as that’s an obvious one even with minimal experience.
I knew it had to be disengaged but didn’t realise I had to give it a ‘twist’ as well as well as pulling it up.
Wise words and reassuring that it will work if needed so I’m better off in the long run after a whole day of frustration.
