I have tried so many things trying to get my laser to work that I now have the setting so messed up. can I uninstall the Lightburn software and re install using the same Activation code?

Yes. Saying that, can you tell us why you are thinking that a re-install is required? In all but the rarest of circumstances, LightBurn should not require a reinstallation to connect and operate a supported laser system.

The settings within LightBurn which allow it to work with your setup can be edited so re-installing will bring you back to where you are currently. We can help you with the correct settings if you share what you have set up so far.
I see that you list an XCarve using an X Controller. What firmware are you using and what are the current firmware settings?
