Update 1.7.02 possible issue with fibre

That’s the bug I just fixed. We’ll have a patch release out shortly to correct this.

Yeah man, just adding that a brand new machine is fine red laser is okay

My red dot settings on both of my machines. Cloudray 50w and Cloudray 60w mopa. Just for info. I haven’t upgraded yet until the patch version comes out.

Interesting mine is marking 15 and my fiber type for mopa is JPT usually on our machines

I emailed cloudray with a screenshot. They said it’s correct. Imported the markcfg7 config file.

markcfg7, how interesting, thanks for letting me know!

I have also contacted the manufacturer… lets see what they say.I will also report back after their reply…

I should have responded but i didn’t think of the update , but yes I’ve had many issues as when doing a flate surface engrave it would stop in middle of projects and not continue , i thought it was an issue with my lapop i just rebooted but happend 3 times now , re my 60w m7 mopa fiber laser 110lens . Only used it one other time since tgis happened as I’ve been resting due to surgery. I’ll try probably over weekend to see if it happens.

I would like to add that for some reason when going to preview? (v1.7.02) the program freezes. I haven’t seen this with any other version. I will say I have not witnessed the framing problem.
I hope this helps.

That is not nearly enough information. What are you trying to preview? Would it, by chance, be a really complicated file set to Offset Fill?

Sorry to ask, but do you have an estimate on when that patch will be available?

I think I am running in to that same bug, with LB ignoring the global passes setting. Strangely, it was working. But between me upping the speed and playing with optimization settings, now it just ignores the global passes setting. Turning optimization on and off doesn’t effect it. Having tried slowing it down to see if it works again.

1.7.03 update is out and has fixed my issues

Just a little feedback on this : I have now replaced the 650nm laser for framing and it works again. Yes… it was a failure on the red laser module! Wild coincidence… but the dev was right (as usual)…
