Before updating my Core license to the Pro is it possible to try the ver Pro it to see if it is fully compatible with my galvo laser?

Yes, you can deactivate the license from your computer and start the Trial. 
But then does the trial of the ver Pro start?
The “Trial” version of LightBurn is fully functional for all Core and Pro features.
