i went onto my software today and it said there was a update so i decided to do it then it came up that my licence was not valid. When i went to my licence on the software it said that my licence was valid but my update period had expired what does this mean?

LightBurn License is perpetual - meaning you can use it forever.
This however is limited to the versions that come out up to 1 year after purchase.
So if for example you bought your license in March 2024
You can use any Version of LigthBurn that was launched before March 2025.
Forever.
If you wish to continue to get updates you will need to renew your license, is 30$ per year.
If you don’t want to pay to renew your license key, the latest version I think your key is compatible with is v1.5.02.
